Concert of Herbie Hancock will close Leopolis Jazz Weekend charity broadcasts
On July 2, our Leopolis Jazz Weekend charity broadcasts will be closed by a musician whom our listeners were waiting for every time.
Herbie Hancock is an American pianist and composer, 14-time Grammy Award winner and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. At the end of April, on International Jazz Day, he recorded a video and supported Ukrainians: "Today, Ukraine is a symbol of freedom. The Ukrainian people remind all of us what it means to have courage and the desire to remain free. Ukraine, we stand with you!"
During the charity broadcasts, we will watch the concert of 2015. During the performance Herbie Hancock unexpectedly created a collaboration with saxophonist Wayne Shorter. This concert became unique due to appearance of two legends on one stage.
