GrooveKeepers is a band that provides a meeting point for musicians who share a love for the blues, jazz and soul music. This combination of some of the finest musicians in the world creates a sense of freedom in their music while showing deep respect for traditions.
Jan Kořínek’s musical style has evolved from its pure blues roots into a soul-jazz-funk with strong blues influences. Jan has been giving tours and making records for over twenty years. The Hammond organ is his favourite instrument. His music follows the traditions of great organ combos’ players, such as Jimmy McGriff or Jimmy Smith. Their performance will be supported by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine and the Czech Centre.
