DZ’OB is a unique Ukrainian ensemble combining IDM, techno, dubstep, and avant-garde academic music in its work. The combination of oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and strings with electronics, as well as the synthesis of the latest dance and academic traditions are woven into a powerful and impressive musical performance. Starting with their new take on Aphex Twin and Squarepusher tracks, and Shostakovich’s preludes, DZ’OB released three mini albums: DZ’OB (2016), Basement Suite (2017), and Beings for Throbbing (2018).
