Austrian jazz violinist Rudi Berger is known as one of the creators of the world-renowned art-jazz band Vienna Art Orchestra. A graduate of the Vienna Conservatory in violin. In 1986, Berger was named "Fiddler of the Year" by the magazine JazzLive. After moving to New York, he worked with Adam Nussbaum, Mike Formanek, Astor Piazzolla, Victor Bailey, Defunkt. Inspired by Latin jazz, Berger moved to Rio de Janeiro. Soon, he was named one of the most recorded musicians in Brazil: Berger participated in more than 300 recordings, including movie and theater. Since 2009 he is an honorary member of the Chet Baker Foundation.
