Meet the hosts of Alfa Jazz Fest

The concerts on the Stage on Rynok Square will be hosted by a radio presenter Marta Bilska and the festival's art director, radio presenter Alex Kogan. Alex will also meet you every evening during the festival on the Stage dedicated to Eddie Rosner. On the Stage on Potocki Palace Square, the Alfa Jazz concerts will be traditionally presented by a pianist Anastasija Litvinjuk and a musician Igor Hnydyn. 24 – 27 June at the open stage on one of the most beautiful central streets of Lviv, near Potocki Palace (15a Kopernyka str.) Alfa Jazz Fest concerts will be traditionally led by Anastasiya Lytvyniuk and Ihor Hnydyn.

Anastasija Litvinyuk is a pianist, composer, co-founder and teacher of Jazz Department of the Lviv National Music Academy named after Mykola Lysenko, Lviv School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. She is also the founder of Litvinyuk Acoustic Jazz and ShockolaD projects and successfully works as a sessional musician at international projects. Igor Hnydyn represents new generation of Ukrainian jazz musicians. He is one of the best drummers in Ukraine. He successfully works as a composer and performs his own music in projects ShockolaD and Igor Hnydyn Project. Igor is also a co-founder of Jazz Club Lviv, coordinator of international jazz workshops Cho-Jazz (Poland). He is a repeated participant and winner at many competitions and art scholarship programs in Ukraine, Europe and the USA, professor and co-founder of Jazz Department of the Lviv National Music Academy named after Mykola Lysenko, Lviv School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. He is continuously invited as a drummer to perform with many famous European and American musicians.

The concerts on the Stage on Rynok Square from 23 to 27 June that will be traditionally located at the most beautiful square of Lviv will be led by Marta Bilska. Marta has been leading Alfa Jazz Fest since its foundation in 2011. She is also the Program Director at Radio Lux FM Lviv and at the same time co-works with Dzyga Art Association, namely in such projects as JazzBez, Flugers of Lviv, Fort Mission, Eastern Partnership Culture Congress and others.
