The University Summer Evening
On June 25, a unique location, a real crown jewel of the garden and park art - the Botanical Garden of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv will host the guests.
Ivan Franko National University is an educational and scientific heart of not only the city of Lviv but also of the whole Ukraine. This year it is celebrating its 360th anniversary. On this occasion the University starts a new project, which will create a scholarship fund in support of students and postgraduates, prizewinners of international and All-Ukraine contests and academic competitions, so Summer Evening at the Botanical Garden will become a symbolic beginning of it.
The University Summer Evening is a great opportunity to spend time enjoying the unique atmosphere and listening to jazz music in the flourishing Botanical Garden, which has been a favorite leisure time spot for Lviv residents since the end of the 19th century. The events with exquisite music traditionally took place here. Today, the University wants to give this place a special tourist prominence, to show its uniqueness and to acquaint everyone with the National Heritage of Ukraine, combining it with a good cause - the support of young scientists.
