Istanbul Sessions play high-end, cliché-free ethno-fusion and perform on stages throughout the world. They have already released three albums and are on their way to finishing a fourth.
The band’s frontman, Ilhan Ersahin, is one of the few representatives of New York’s underground stagecene. He is also the owner of Nublu Club and the Nublu record label. You might find Ilhan playing a jam session with The Red Hot Chili Peppers in São Paulo, at a concert with Bugge Wesseltoft at the Blue Note Tokyo club or performing a set with Turkish Roma somewhere in Europe. Ilhan’s performance will be supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Ukraine.
