The Caryl Baker Quartet consists of pianist Caryl Baker, drummer Luigi Galati, bassist Emanuel Schnyder and tenor saxophonist Domenic Landorf. After attending various jazz schools, all four musicians have been performing on the Swiss and European jazz scenes for many years. The band has collaborated on a regular basis with legendary saxophonist, composer and producer Chico Freeman. They are going to perform together in Lviv as well. The quartet pays a great deal of attention to music based on complex harmonies and rhythms.
