«Listening to HI5 is both adventure and pleasure». This is what the musicians of HI5 say about their concerts. They call their art «minimal jazz chamber music», something that bridges jazz and chamber music. Despite their declaration of minimalism, though, they take a resourceful and conceptual approach to their work. HI5 has already won a few meaningful awards including the Joe Zawinul Award 2012, the Bucharest International Jazz Competition 2013, and the Jimmy Woode European Jazz Award 2013.
