Esperanza Spalding is an American jazz bassist, cellist and singer, who draws upon many genres in her own compositions. Having reached success, Esperanza, as a bold experimenter, tends to her every new composition would be different from the previous one; she is not afraid of change, goes beyond genres as an instrumental performer, singer and composer.
Esperanza Spalding has won four Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. She performed at the 84th Oscar ceremony, at the ceremony of the Nobel Prize, and at the White House.

Emily’s D+Evolution is the fifth Esperanza’s album to be released early March 2016. This is a kaleidoscope project. Emily is Esperanza’s second name and some alter ego of the musician, specially created for the new project.
