Nils Landgren Funk Unit is one of the best funk bands of the Continental Europe. The band was formed in 1992, and in three years has released its debut disc. The band's discography includes six studio and two live albums (all recorded on the prestigious label ACT Music), European and world tours, performances at Europe's most prestigious jazz festivals, including the famous Montreux Jazz Festival.
Band leader Funk Unit - famous trombonist Nils Landgren and singer, one of Sweden's best jazz musicians, bright showman and leader of many projects. He is widely known not only for jazz fans through collaboration with such artists and bands as ABBA, The Crusaders, Eddie Harris, Herbie Hancock, Joe Sample, Richard Galliano, and many others (participated in the recording of more than 500 albums of various artists).
