International Project of the Norwegian pianist, composer and producer Bugge Wesseltoft.
Bugge Wesseltoft is a bright representative of the so-called Future Jazz (or Nu Jazz), a style that combines elements of electronic music, ambient, techno and contemporary acoustic jazz.
Music septet Bugge'n'Friends is like a look into the future of European jazz music, where traditional acoustic instruments harmoniously combines with DJ mixers and synthesizers.
Throughout his career Bugge Wesseltoft worked with many well known representatives of European jazz such as Jan Garbarek, Nils Petter Molvær, Terje Rypdal, Arild Andersen and many others. Also a pianist has won several prestigious awards Spellemannprisen, which are similar to the Grammy in Norway.
