British singer Lisa Stansfield will perform on 30 June on the E. Rosner Stage

For over 30 years, Lisa Stansfield has combined soul and pop music in her work. The singer first achieved success in the 80s. At that time, she performed in the Blue Zone group. Big Thing ranked 11th in the UK and entered the top 10 dance charts in America. Since then, Lisa Stansfield has sold over 20 million records.

Her first breakthrough came with the 1989 album Affection and the singles “All Around The World” (which climbed to third place on the American charts and first in the UK), “What Did I Do To You”, “Live Together”, “You Can’t Deny It” and “This Is The Right Time”. She has received many awards, including Brit Awards, Ivor Novello Awards and Billboard Music Awards. In 1999, Stansfield made her onscreen debut in the movie Swing, for which she recorded ten songs. In recent years, she released the albums Seven (2014) and Deeper (2018).

Lisa Stansfield recently announced an autumn tour in 2019, which will be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the release of her debut solo album Affection.
