Concerts of Alfa Jazz Fest 2017 will be broadcasted on Mezzo as of December

Concerts recorded during the Alfa Jazz Fest 2017 by the world-famous French TV channel Mezzo, will be available on the TV channel, starting from December and during 2018.

The jazz festival Alfa Jazz Fest has been working closely with the well-known French TV channel Mezzo for several years. In 2017, the TV channel recorded three concerts within the festival, particularly:

• Israeli jazz bassist, singer and arranger Avishai Cohen (together with the INSO-Lviv Academic Symphony Orchestra);
• outstanding American vocalist China Moses;
• quartet of the legendary Cuban pianist, composer and arranger, a six-time Grammy Award winner and a three-time Latin Grammy Award winner (Chucho Valdés Quartet).

The concert broadcasts will start  in December on New Year’s eve (December 29, 30, 31) and will last for 2018 on three channels: Mezzo, Mezzo Live HD and Mezzo Live HD World. The detailed schedule of broadcasts can be found below.

Leopolis Jazz Fest (Alfa Jazz Fest till 2017) is an international jazz festival that takes place annually in Ukraine on the last weekend of June. The first festival took place in 2011. Every year the festival is visited by more than 100 thousand guests from Ukraine and foreign countries. In 2016 The Guardian included Alfa Jazz Fest in the list of the best European festivals.
