Stefano Bollani will perform at Leopolis Jazz Fest 2018
Stefano Bollani is a virtuoso Italian pianist, composer, singer and television presenter. His partnership with Enrico Rava, which lasted continuously since 1996, has played a crucial role in his development as a musician. Together with him, he has played hundreds of concerts and recorded 13 albums (including Tati, The Third Man and New York Days). Throughout his career, he has worked with musicians such as Richard Galliano, Bill Frisell, Phil Woods, Lee Konitz, Pat Metheny and Chick Corea. Stefano Bollani publishes his books, works as a radio broadcaster, television presenter, the author of TV projects, and performs in the theater (as a composer and actor).
At Leopolis Jazz Fest, Stefano Bollani will present QUE BOM. He created this band in Brazil. Bass player Jorge Helder, drummer Jurim Moreira and percussionist Armando Marçal have already participated in the recording of Carioca album. Recently, the band was joined by percussionist Thiago da Serrinha and the quintet is ready to create completely new, fresh and original music, where Stefano compositions will sink into the South American rhythms.
QUE BOM TOUR will begin in June 2018, first in South America and then in Europe. At Leopolis Jazz Fest, QUE TOUR BOM by Stefano Bollani will be played on July 1.
