Tamara Lukasheva Quartet will perform on June 24 at the stage on Rynok Squar
The performance will be sponsored by Goethe-Institut.
Tamara Lukasheva is a renowned jazz vocalist from Odessa, who moved to Germany in 2010 and within a month after moving she gathered her band, Tamara Lukasheva Quartet.
This year, the quartet won one of the most prestigious prizes in Germany, Neuer Deutscher Jazz Preis Mannheim, and Tamara Lukasheva received a solo prize. It is not the first victory for her; Tamara is the winner of many awards, including Voicingers (2nd place and the Audience Award, 2011, Poland), Master Jazz Fest (1st place, 2013, Ukraine), Keep an Eye Jazz Awards (second prize, Netherlands, 2015), and Bujazzo German competition for compositions and arrangements for big bands (1st place in 2016).
Tamara Lukasheva Quartet’s album "Patchwork of time" was released in 2016, as a part of Next Generation, a prestigious project in support of young jazz projects.
