The name of the first headliner of Leopolis Jazz Fest 2019 is announced
On New Year’s eve we are really happy to share plans for the coming festival.
Leopolis Jazz 2019 prepares many interesting concerts and today we are ready to announce the name of the first headliner.
So, Leopolis Jazz 2019 will feature a world-famous pianist and composer, 22-time Grammy award winner - Chick Corea with the project My Spanish Heart Band. The concert will be held on June 29, 2019.
The name itself brings us back to the legendary 1976 album My Spanish Heart, an explosive mix of jazz fusion and traditional Latin music. A new project of Chick Corea combines works from My Spanish Heart and Touchstone albums. This program is a tribute to the love of Spanish and Latin American music, which has always been an important component of the work of the famous musician.
Chick Corea decided to give us a rare opportunity to hear live music that has already become history, as well as to experience the mastery of great band musicians, including a wonderful dancer, as music and dance is something that is impossible to imagine without flamenco culture.
